With 70 people in the room and another 20 online, the European TLD ISAC held the fourth edition of its annual conference in Brussels.
A big thank you goes to our 14 speakers for sharing valuable insights, at times painful experiences and lessons learned and for challenging the room with their candid perspectives on current practices. Together, we explored how to strengthen collaboration on cybersecurity issues affecting the entire DNS ecosystem.
Participants witnessed a successful live hack on stage and looked at DNS resilience from a variety of perspectives, including the root, open source, regulation, law enforcement and the ccTLD community.
From global trust and NIS2 to supply chain security, cybercrime, threat intelligence sharing, incident handling and business continuity, the discussions highlighted the many dimensions of building a more resilient DNS ecosystem.
One key takeaway: strengthening the DNS requires more than technical measures. Trust, information sharing and collaboration across organisations and communities are essential to improving collective resilience.
We look forward to continuing the conversation at next year’s conference!
