Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are expert-led forums that bring together specialists from the TLD ISAC and CENTR communities to collaborate on specific cybersecurity topics and challenges within the remit of the TLD ISAC. These groups operate in a trusted, non-commercial environment that fosters open, respectful, and constructive communication.
Purpose and Activities
SIGs focus on:
- Facilitating expert-driven discussions on both technical and non-technical cybersecurity matters
- Sharing intelligence, expertise, and analysis of emerging challenges and threats, new technologies, regulatory developments, and more
- Developing practical, actionable solutions such as reports, guidelines, and recommendations
- Advising on specific TLD ISAC tasks within their area of expertise
Composition
Participation in SIGs is primarily limited to TLD ISAC members. However, when beneficial and appropriate, involvement may be extended—for example, to CENTR full members or relevant stakeholders from the broader internet ecosystem.
SIGs within the TLD ISAC
The TLD ISAC currently hosts two active SIGs:
- Threat Intelligence SIG (TI-SIG): A trusted forum dedicated to the exchange of actionable cyber threat intelligence, tactics, best practices, and data. The group enhances situational awareness, strengthens collective defence, and improves incident response capabilities. Participation in the TI-SIG is currently restricted to TLD ISAC members.
- CISO SIG: A collaborative space for cybersecurity leaders to share insights, exchange best practices, and address key challenges. Through strategic and operational discussions—including topics such as regulatory implications and incident preparedness—the group works to identify emerging threats and strengthen collective security. The CISO SIG is open to both TLD ISAC members and CENTR full members.
